The Poker Cashier position will welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and finalize cash payments at the Poker Room.
Responsible for the makeup and verification of bankrolls for all money-handling departments
Operates assigned bank or window according to approved procedures.
Verifies previous count sheet from assigned bank or window.
Counts down the bank at end of each shift and reconciles to the cage accountability.
As needed, can assist the Impressment team, for that gaming day, in transporting currency and chips/tokens to and from cashier cages with appropriate documentation.
Maintains Ticket Redemption Kiosks and Self-Service Centers.
Coordinates the timely seating of poker patrons.
Operates computerized and/or manual poker seating reservation system.
Exchange currency and chips at the poker tables.
Accepts new applications into the Total Rewards program.
Performs exchanges with Poker Dealers to fill table banks in accordance with the approved Rules of Play, Internal Controls Standards, and Louisiana Land-Based Casino Gaming Division Rules and Regulations.
Communicates all pertinent information to Poker Supervisor or Poker Manager.
