Why Work Here? You join a hands-on, safety-focused team that values craftsmanship, reliability, and independent work. The role offers variety in your day, combining plumbing, carpentry, mechanical work, and refurbishment on different trailers rather than repetitive tasks. You work in an environment that emphasizes safety training, regular safety meetings, and proper protective equipment. There is room to broaden your skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems while contributing directly to visible, finished results that customers use every day.
Work Environment
You work both indoors in a shop and outdoors in a yard, with exposure to hot or cold conditions depending on the weather. You also spend time inside trailers, which may not always have air conditioning. The standard schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch, and you maintain some flexibility with hours based on workload. The role is physically active, involving lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking between bays, and working in and around trailers with up to six axles. You regularly use hand and power tools, floor buffers, and cleaning equipment while working on mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical tasks. The dress code requires steel-toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt; the company provides safety glasses and gloves to support a safe working environment.
