Job Title: Plumber Foreman

Job Description

This role oversees industrial plumbing projects, leading field crews while installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and piping systems in industrial facilities. The Plumber Foreman coordinates work on site, ensures high-quality workmanship, and actively participates in hands-on tasks such as measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and assembling various types of pipe and tubing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead plumbers and multiple crews on larger industrial projects, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and to specification.
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and piping systems in industrial facilities, including complex industrial piping layouts.
  • Measure, cut, and bend various sizes of pipe and tubing to required angles and lengths using pipe cutters, benders, and related tools.
  • Thread and assemble black and steel pipe to meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform brazing, threading, and other joining techniques on steel pipe, black pipe, PVC, and related materials.
  • Coordinate job planning and sequencing of tasks to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Oversee rigging activities related to plumbing and piping installations in an industrial environment.
  • Collaborate with other trades, including HVAC and electrical, to ensure proper integration of piping systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices for industrial plumbing and backflow prevention.
  • Provide guidance, training, and direction to crew members to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, safety, and adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills

  • Current Master or Journeyman state plumbing certification.
  • Proven working foreman experience leading multiple crews on larger industrial projects.
  • Strong industrial plumbing experience with experience in industrial facility piping systems.
  • Proficiency in threading, brazing, cutting, and bending pipe and tubing.
  • Hands-on experience with steel pipe, black pipe, PVC, and related plumbing materials.
  • Backflow certification and understanding of backflow prevention requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret industrial piping layouts and job specifications.
  • Experience coordinating work in environments that involve HVAC, rigging, and electrical interfaces.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills in the field.

  • Comfort working with a range of industrial tools and equipment for threading, cutting, bending, and assembling pipe.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $93600.00/yr.
