5-10+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial automation, material handling, or conveyor systems
Strong experience with PLC programming, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix highly desirable
Proven project management experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams
Broad knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices as applied to automated material handling and conveyor systems
Experience with design, implementation, and improvement of electrical control systems for industrial and conveyor applications
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements
Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication skills to work with engineers, customers, and management
Ability to perform assignments independently with minimal instruction
Experience providing technical direction and training to drafters, designers, and junior engineers
Willingness to travel for field surveys, installations, and site support
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and improve electrical control systems for conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and industrial automation applications
Program and operate computer systems including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC systems and write software for conveyor automation control
Oversee project efforts from beginning to end ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to customer specifications
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with codes and requirements
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, develop project plans, manage budgets, and communicate expectations to team members and senior management
