SAIC is seeking a Platform Engineer for the shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.�
This position is contingent upon award news, expected Spring 2026.� �
Job Duties:�
Perform Platform Engineering SATCOM and data link support for stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution project for shipboard C5ISR systems.�
Works with the multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful shipboard industrial test procedures development and testing.�

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:�
Bachelor's and two(2) years or more relevant experience with one or more C5ISR systems listed below; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degrees.�
Required Security Clearance:�
Must have an active secret clearance on first day of employment.�
Required Experience with One or More Key shipboard SATCOM Systems:�
Commercial Broadband Satellite Program and STING terminals.�
Navy Multiband Terminal (AEHF, WGS, MILSTAR).�
Network Tactical Common Data Link (NTCDL).�
Digital Modular Radio (UHF SATCOM).�
Advanced Time Division Multiple Access Interface Processor.�
Television Direct-to-Sailors.�
Satellite Terminal (transportable) Non-Geostationary (STING).�
EHF SATCOM.�
Global Broadcast Service (GBS).�
Satellite Signals Navigation Set (WRN-6V)�

Required Certifications:�
Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II - Security+ certification, or CSSIP or equivalent or willing to obtain within 180 days of hire.�
Desired Qualifications and Experience:�
Familiar with C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings.�
Autocad expereince preferred.�
