Plant Control Room Monitor Position
- This is a permanent position not a temp.
PERSON NEEDS TO LIVE WITHIN 15 MILES OF FLAT ROCK, MI AND HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
- Monitor several PC Screen's located in an office environment inside a manufacturing plant that displays status/alarm messages.
- General computer skills, reading/writing emails and must have Microsoft Excel experience.
- Call out the alarms on a multiple 2-way radios to Maintenance & Production personnel while logging data in existing Microsoft Excel files
- Must be very attentive and undistracted while monitoring real-time production screens.
- Good multi-tasker, people skills, communicator and works well with others
- Comfortable making public announcements over an intercom system
- Must be very reliable and punctual. This is a 100% onsite role for obvious reasons.
- Very reliable transportation
- Clean background check
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Work Location is in Flat Rock 100% of the time
Full-time Hours = tentatively 6AM~230pm - there are times the start time could fluctuate based on when production is running in the plant.
- 8-Hour days typically, but may vary between 4 AM and 8 PM, on a rotating weekly schedule with other employees
- Willing to Work OT and/or Saturdays (if nec) but not often.
- Paid training
- $18-$20/hour to start.
