Title: Women's Wholesale Planning Manager

Location: New York NY- Hybrid

Salary: $85,000-$95,000


About the Company


Our client, a well know women’s wholesale apparel brand, is seeking a Wholesale Planning Manager to join their team in NYC with a hybrid schedule. Maintain proper inventory levels for multiple product categories for specific retail accounts including Amazon,Department Stores, and Off-Price accounts. This is accomplished through the analysis of retailer demands, historical forecasts, and vendor lead times. Effectively manage inventory levels to maximize both service and inventory analysis. Additionally, works to ensure that replenishment needs of the retailers are met whenever possible.


Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory flow including new item set-up/fill, seasonal and promotional timing
  • Review and analyze lost sales/projected outs to identify trends at SKU, merchandise class, and vendor levels. 
  • Develop key item open to buy sales reports for key accounts.
  • Communicate with vendors to improve and maintain service level as quickly as possible through the entire supply chain. 
  • Develop and sustain a detail demand forecast at the SKU level by leveraging sales data, coverage assessment and market insights.
  • Track and analyze selling utilizing ERP system.
  • Create planning reports for the team and analyze to determine if any patterns can be identified.
  • Top-down analysis at an account level to validate by plans meets financial objectives for Department Stores, big box, mid-tier and off-price accounts


Preferred Skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Preferred emphasis in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a business-related field, or equivalent functional area). 
  • 3 plus years in wholesale planning
  • Ability to assess data, solve problems and make decisions with the information provided. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • The ability to work in a team environment and as an individual. 
  • Must have the ability to multitask, and prioritize as needed
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and be organized 
  • Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel, ERP/PLM
