Materials Planner / Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Planner to support purchasing, production planning, and scheduling activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with suppliers, operations, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time production execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, material planning, and production scheduling activities
• Maintain MRP/ERP systems, work orders, and supplier delivery schedules
• Monitor inventory levels, supplier performance, and production requirements
• Partner cross-functionally to support operational efficiency and customer delivery goals
• Support forecasting, sourcing initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
• Analyze production and purchasing data to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or materials planning
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• ERP/MRP system experience required (SAP preferred)
• Strong Excel, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Schedule: Monday – Thursday (Friday off)
