We’re looking for an experienced, safety‑minded Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you’ll install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems across industrial, commercial, or mechanical environments. 🔨Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
  • Install and secure pipes, supports, valves, and fittings
  • Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with welders, plumbers, and project supervisors
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
  • Troubleshoot issues and recommend effective solutions

🧰Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a pipefitter (industrial, commercial, or mechanical)
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency with pipefitting tools and equipment
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices
  • Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred

⭐Preferred Skills

  • Welding experience or certification
  • Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, or copper systems
  • Familiarity with HVAC, fire suppression, or process piping
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tuscaloosa, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
