Pipefitter Planner — Labs

We are hiring a Pipefitter Planner for our Rahway, NJ site. This is an on-site role supporting laboratory maintenance operations.

In this position, you will serve as the technical planning lead for pipefitting maintenance activities. You will manage pipefitting work orders in SAP, build detailed job plans, coordinate parts, tools, and materials, and partner closely with maintenance supervisors, lab owners, and crafts to support safe and efficient execution. This role also serves as a site subject matter expert for pipefitting-related technical questions.

Key qualifications:

• 10+ years of pipefitting maintenance or fabrication experience
• 2+ years in planning, coordination, or similar work
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, valves, supports, welding/fabrication practices, and safe work methods
• Ability to develop job plans, manpower estimates, and material lists
• Experience in pharmaceutical or laboratory maintenance preferred
• Journeyman Pipefitter certification or equivalent strongly preferred

Work setting: On-site

Compensation: $115,000–$130,000
