Gas Pipefitter/Welder/Plumber

Job Description

This role supports a medical center build-out by installing, fitting, and welding piping systems in an active construction environment. The pipefitter will work with copper and other piping materials, perform brazing and welding, and help retrofit and rebuild the existing pipe system, including work in clean room areas.

Responsibilities

  • Install, fit, and assemble piping systems for a medical center build-out in an active construction environment.
  • Perform pipe fitting, including cutting, threading, and assembling various types of pipe and fittings.
  • Execute welding and brazing tasks, particularly on copper piping, to ensure secure and leak-free connections.
  • Assist with the retrofit and rebuild of existing pipe systems to meet project specifications and medical facility standards.

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in pipe fitting in a government or commercial setting.
  • Hands-on experience with pipe fitting, including cutting, threading, and installing piping systems.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques used in pipe installation.
  • Experience with brazing, particularly on copper pipe systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
