A leading manufacturer in the pipeline industry is seeking a Pipe Yard Worker to join their team. This role involves assisting with manual labor in the pipe yard, including strapping down pipes onto 18-wheelers, loading and unloading materials, and moving large pipes around the yard. There is potential to learn forklift operations to move the pipe.

Work Environment
This role is based in a 20-acre pipe yard located in Houston, TX. The position requires working outdoors in a non-climate controlled environment, which can get hot during summer months. The pipe yard office has around 15 employees, primarily female, who handle inventory. The work schedule is 1st shift from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential for additional hours based on production demands. Saturdays are worked by 70% of employees, typically for 6-8 hours, with an expectation of 55+ hours weekly, reaching 60+ during peak times.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
