Pipe Welder

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilledPipe Fitter/Welderto join our team. This position involves installing, assembling, and welding piping systems for industrial applications. The role requires daily travel to job sites, with some over the road travel but primarily home everynight, so flexibility and a valid driver’s license are essential. We are looking for candidates who have experience working with various metals and welding techniques while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Cut, thread, and weld pipes according to specifications.
• Assemble and install piping systems for tanks and related equipment.
• Inspect and test completed systems for leaks and compliance.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, strongly preferring experience/knowledge of welding on pressure vessel and tank systems.
• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Work Environment:

• Primarily industrial and construction settings.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical demands.
• Collaborative team environment with a strong focus on safety.
• Travel required for on-site installations and projects.

Pay:

• $25-$32 per/hour

Hours:

• 6am - 4:30pm typically
• Depending on location and project

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Sioux Falls,SD.
