Our Behavioral Health team is seeking a psychiatrist to join us in serving our patient populations throughout the local and outlying communities. This MD will be responsible for providing behavioral health services to individual patients across lifespan. Our professional, patient centered, and compassionate behavioral health providers and support staff are a source of excellent support and extensive resources. The Behavioral Health Division at Essentia Health includes physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners, clinical social workers, psychiatric physician assistants, nurses, and dedicated support staff. A Behavioral Health psychiatrist is able to utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. This provider will build rapport and prescribe medications, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. This position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Compensation $335,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
