What You Will Do

Ascension Medical Group Providence is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified PRN Obstetrics & Gynecological Physician for our Womens Health service line in Waco, TX.

Waco has been recognized as the “Heart of Texas," and is situated on the I-35 corridor between Dallas and Austin with scores of shops and restaurants galore along with excellent parks, a supportive business environment, a low crime rate, diverse housing options, and top-ranked schools.

Position Highlights:

• Existing Team of 7 OBs, 2 GYNs, 2 NPs and 1 PA
• In House Neonatal Care
• Robotic Surgery capabilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
• Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested.
• Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements. Appeal all denials in a timely manner.
• Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
