Physician, Genitourinary Medical Oncologist

  • Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Candidates will have experience and/or training in genitourinary; additional training in non-ACGME-accredited programs welcomed
  • Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Candidates will diagnose and manage GU cancers, administer systemic therapies and procedures and develop individualized treatment plans informed by the latest clinical guidelines
  • Candidates will collaborate across disciplines to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care and educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and long-term management strategies
  • Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects, while contributing to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows for the academic track
  • Position reports to Chief of GU Medical Oncology, and is supported by a team of advanced practice providers and fellow physicians
  • Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute has been recognized by the Association for Accreditation of Human Research Protection Program (AAHRPP) for promoting ethically sound and safe human subjects research practice
