The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking an outstanding individual for a clinician track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor shared between the Divisions of General & Community Pediatrics and Neonatology.

Clinical responsibilities will include providing primary care to patients in the general pediatric outpatient clinics within the Children’s Health system. This individual will provide direct patient care and supervise trainees. Clinical responsibilities will also include providing primary care to patients previously treated in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, through the Thrive program. This individual will provide direct patient care and supervise advanced pediatric providers.

The Divisions of General & Community Pediatrics and Neonatology offer a variety of clinical, educational, research, and administrative opportunities for candidates.

Applicants should have experience in outpatient pediatrics care, be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas, and be board certified in Pediatrics. Previous experience in outpatient pediatrics and trainee supervision is preferred
