Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Ideal candidates will have experience in benign hematology
Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive
medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
Candidates will diagnose and manage a wide range of benign hematologic conditions, perform procedures including bone marrow biopsies and blood transfusions when clinically, and develop individualized treatment plans informed by the latest clinical guidelines
Will collaborate across disciplines to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care and educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and long-term management strategies
Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects, while contributing to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Position reports to Chief of Benign Hematology, and supported by a team of advanced practice providers and fellow physicians
