University of Pittsburgh Physicians are hiring a Full-time Physician Assistant for the Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) APP Cardiac Surgery Fellowship Program. This 12-month training program be based at UPMC Passavant and require travel to UPMC Presbyterian and Shadyside. This position will work Monday to Friday daylight hours.
University of Pittsburgh Physicians, Heart and Vascular Institute, APP Cardiac Surgery Fellowship Program is hiring a Physician Assistant for the Cardiac Surgery Fellowship. It is a 12-month position with the cardiac surgery service learning all aspects of medical and surgical patient management from initial consult through pre-op work up, surgery and post op ICU and floor management. The focus is on learning how to operate and assist during cardiac surgery cases. (Emphasis on saphenous vein harvest.) Preferred pre-requisite is a shadow experience with a Cardiac Surgery PA or ACNP and time in the operating room.
