Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Lead Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring and enhancing patients’ mobility, strength, and overall well-being. In this energetic position, you will assess patient needs, develop personalized care plans, and implement effective physiotherapy techniques across diverse settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, and inpatient units. Your expertise will empower patients of all ages—pediatrics to geriatrics—to regain independence and improve their quality of life through targeted interventions and compassionate care.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical condition, including physiology and anatomy assessments, to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Design and implement individualized care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy sessions focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and promoting functional recovery in outpatient, inpatient, or home & community care environments.
  • Manage discharge planning processes by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community settings.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes while maintaining detailed documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and self-care strategies to support ongoing recovery outside clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties to develop comprehensive care plans that address acute care needs and long-term health goals.


Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans tailored to diverse patient populations such as pediatrics or geriatrics.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare providers effectively.
