Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine experience preferred; candidate must be comfortable treating ortho and sports med patient populations.
• Productivity expectation: ability to meet approximately 60 visits per week and see 12–14 patients per day; experience with scheduling that includes follow-up double-booking preferred.
• Must not be a PTA; position requires a licensed Physical Therapist.
• New graduates not accepted; first-time travelers are acceptable.
• Ability to obtain any facility-required approvals for overtime prior to working OT.

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift type: 8-hour day shifts.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours guaranteed with expectation to work up to 40 hours; overtime must be approved by director.
• Patient population: Orthopedics / Sports Medicine.
• Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day; follow-up double-booking expected.
• Travel team option: This clinic participates in a travel team model within the region.
• Floating: Candidate is not required to float to other clinics.
