Pay Rate: $50–$55/hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (flexible shifts available)

Position Overview

Healthcare organizations across multiple boroughs of New York City are seeking skilled Physical Therapists for full-time contract roles with strong potential to transition into permanent positions. This role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting patients with a wide range of physical conditions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, and function
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, recovery plans, and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active New York State Physical Therapist license (required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience required
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and treatment modalities
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
