Position SummaryWe are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position will assist the Physical Therapist in providing quality therapy services that help residents achieve their highest level of independence, mobility, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will be flexible, compassionate, and committed to delivering person-centered care. Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans based on resident goals and needs.
Document therapy services in compliance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
Communicate resident progress and concerns effectively with the therapy team, nursing staff, and families.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents during therapy sessions.
Support the rehab team with equipment set-up, care, and maintenance.
Adapt treatment approaches as necessary to meet resident needs.
Qualifications
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Nebraska (or eligible).
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or senior care setting preferred, but not required.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work on a PRN/as-needed basis.
