MajorDuties

  • Serves as a Digital Forensic Cellular Phone Exploitation (CELLEX) Examiner.
  • Represent the command at intelligence community forensics operational and training events, conferences, forums, and discussions.
  • Analyze workflows to optimize existing operating processes for forensics exploitation and analysis.
  • Receive and inventory physical evidence to maintain integrity of submitted evidence.
  • Responsible for establishing and enhancing Special Operations Force (SOF) enterprise tactics, techniques, and procedures for the exploitation of automated devices.
  • Conducts digital media forensics and analysis of computers and mobile communications information storage devices in support of cryptologic requirements and operations.
  • Converts recovered data into meaningful intelligence data through analysis, collation and correlation, synthesis, and specific identification.
  • Responsible for extraction of CELLEX to recover data and other forms of evidence regarding the history, alteration or manipulation of the evidence.
  • Uses state of the art or developed hardware and software programs to recover data, including fragmented files from damaged or altered data storage devices, and when necessary modifies systems, hardware, software and diagnostic tools.
