Role: Photolithography Equipment Technician (Night Shift)
Location: Austin, TX (On‑site)
Type: Full‑time, permanent
Pay: ~up to $94,000/year
Start Date: May 11, 2026
Shift: Nights – 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM
• Sunday–Tuesday
• Every other Saturday
What this role is
You’ll be part of the team that keeps photolithography tools running inside a semiconductor fab. These tools are critical to making chips, so your job is to troubleshoot issues quickly, perform preventative maintenance, and keep downtime as low as possible.
What you’ll do day to day
- Perform daily checks and scheduled preventative maintenance on lithography tools
- Respond quickly when equipment goes down
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process‑related issues
- Work with tools like ASML TWINSCAN, ASML PAS 5500, TEL ACT8 Track, TEL LITHIUS / LITHIUS PRO
- Use data and system alerts (SPC/FDC) to identify and fix problems
- Replace parts, recalibrate equipment, and document all work completed
- Coordinate downtime and repairs with manufacturing and engineering teams
- Help with tool upgrades, improvements, and wafer recovery after maintenance
What they’re looking for
- Associate’s degree in engineering or science OR 8+ years of semiconductor experience
- 3+ years of hands‑on photolithography equipment experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with complex semiconductor tools
- Comfortable reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Able to work independently and in a team‑based fab environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
