DESCRIPTION:
Join our Pharmacy Services team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll perform essential work managing biological materials and pharmaceutical products for clinical trials. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you'll ensure the integrity of valuable research materials from manufacturer to bedside through precise handling, storage, and distribution. You'll work with advanced systems to process orders, maintain cold chain requirements, and support clinical research sites. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with pharmaceutical clients, research partners, and healthcare professionals while contributing to clinical research and therapeutic advances. We provide a professional environment with regular weekday hours plus rotating on-call responsibilities for weekend and holiday coverage.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, including pharmaceutical distribution or clinical research
• Registration/Certification with appropriate Pharmacy Council/Board (e.g., PTCB certification or local equivalent, TSBP)
• IV Sterile Compound certification
• Expertise in sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical compounding
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and maintaining clean room protocols
• Strong knowledge of cold chain management and temperature monitoring systems
• Experience with inventory management systems and pharmaceutical documentation
• Demonstrated ability to work with controlled substances and maintain accurate records
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized software systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, and rotating weekends
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements
• Must be able to work in an environment with occasional exposure to hazardous materials
• Strong focus on priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Team-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills
