Position Overview/Project Details:

Compiles and keeps medical records of patients of the health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment.

Checks medical records for completeness and abstracts and codes clinical data, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems.3-5 years of experience

Notes: Must Haves

• Surgical coder – multispecialty, oncology preferred
• 5+ years of experience in multispecialty
• CPC certification
