As a Pharmacy Intern, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced pharmacists, building the skills and confidence needed for your future career—while directly supporting safe, high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, compounding, and distribution
  • Utilize pharmacy automation to enhance safety and efficiency
  • Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded products (including IV admixtures)
  • Manage medication inventory, including controlled substances and cycle counts
  • Support narcotic distribution and maintain accurate perpetual inventories
  • Conduct medication storage inspections across clinical areas
  • Perform precise pharmaceutical calculations
  • Respond to medication-related questions from healthcare teams and patients
  • Participate in clinical and administrative pharmacy functions

Your Growth Path

P1 (Foundational Learning):

Job Requirements
  • Current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Nebraska Pharmacist Intern License
