Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
Location: Encino, Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
A well‑established and rapidly growing boutique plaintiff‑side personal injury law firm in California is actively seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team in Encino. This firm is known for its strong results, ethical advocacy, and collaborative trial-focused environment.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to further develop litigation skills while working closely with experienced trial counsel on a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a volume of personal injury cases with guidance from a Senior Trial Attorney
- Conduct legal research and draft law and motion papers, including:
- Motions for Summary Judgment
- Demurrers
- Discovery-related motions
- Take and defend depositions (plaintiffs, experts, fact witnesses, etc.)
- Represent clients in matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other personal injury claims
- Draft complaints ranging from straightforward motor vehicle cases to more complex premises and assault matters
- Propound and respond to written discovery
- Assist with trial preparation, including:
- Motions in Limine
- Jury instructions
- Special verdict forms
- Trial support materials
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience
- Admitted to the California Bar for at least 1 year
- Strong familiarity with litigation procedures and deadlines
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Highly organized with strong time management and communication skills
- Team‑oriented and comfortable collaborating with attorneys and paralegals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat DC
