PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION ATTORNEY

The Fort Lauderdale office of Anidjar & Levine P.A., a leading fast-paced, dynamic and rapidly expanding law firm, is seeking an Associate with 5 to 10 years of general defense or plaintiff litigation experience looking to get trial experience. Candidates with specific exposure to the areas of personal injury and property damage litigation are preferred. We're looking for a motivated and organized lawyer with strong written and verbal communication skills who is motivated to take on responsibilities and challenges. The ideal candidate will have top quality written work product and research skills, significant experience with written and electronic discovery, experience taking and defending depositions as well as experience with trial preparation and participation. A commitment to exceptional client service and an interest and willingness to participate in business development efforts are necessary. Management experience is a plus. Responsibilities:

• Duties include handling litigation caseload from inception through trial or resolution.
• Attorney will complete extensive case-related research into relevant laws and regulations, negotiate on behalf of clients, draft and interpret contracts and legal documents.
• Attending court hearings and trials, preparing pleadings and letters, handling discovery requests and taking depositions.
• Draft motions, responses and other filings in state and federal court cases
• Appear in court, take and defend depositions, interact with clients
• Manage litigation dockets with an understanding of scheduling orders and case strategy
• Handle discovery matters, including discovery requests, responses and motions
• Investigate facts with an innovative and pragmatic approach

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years handling personal injury litigation matters.

Active & good standing with FL State Bar.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated personality
• Admitted to the Florida Bar or another state bar
• 5+ years of legal experience
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred but not required
• Position can be in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville or Fort Lauderdale
