Personal Care Assistant - Part-Time 1st Shift

Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support our residents in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. This role focuses on helping residents with daily routines, personal care, and social engagement, ensuring they maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and dining assistance as needed.
  • Provide companionship, engage residents in social and recreational activities, and promote a positive, supportive environment.
  • Observe residents’ well-being and report any concerns or changes to the supervising staff.
  • Ensure residents’ living areas are safe, clean, and comfortable.
  • Foster respectful, compassionate interactions with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or memory care is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively with older adults, including those with memory impairments or cognitive challenges.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and daily tasks.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required (training may be provided).
