Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / CRT – Night Shift (Direct Hire | Full-Time)

Pay:

  • CRT: $23.36 – $35.04/hour
  • RRT: $24.72 – $37.07/hour
  • Shift differentials + regular market adjustments + advancement-based pay increases


Overview

A leading healthcare organization in Ohio is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time night shift (direct hire) opportunity. Schedule

  • Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call required as needed
  • Variable scheduling based on department needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations
  • Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support systems
  • Perform bedside assessments and adjust care plans as needed
  • Administer respiratory therapies and treatment modalities
  • Conduct ABG collection and diagnostic procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams
  • Document all care accurately using EPIC EMR
  • Support training of students and new hires when needed
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical quality


Procedures & Modalities

  • Mechanical ventilation management
  • BiPAP/CPAP therapy
  • High-flow oxygen therapy (Airvo)
  • Aerosol and nebulizer treatments
  • Airway clearance and suctioning
  • ABG collection and interpretation
  • Metaneb therapy


Equipment Used

  • EPIC EMR system
  • Servo ventilators
  • V60 / Vision BiPAP machines
  • Airvo high-flow systems
  • MetNeb devices
  • Standard respiratory care equipment


Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation


Licensure & Certifications

  • NBRC RRT credential (required)
  • Active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner license (required)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • ACLS & NRP (required or within 6 months)
  • PALS & STABLE (preferred)
