Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Azure Cloud Migration Specialist to lead the migration of our on-premises PeopleSoft FSCM application to Microsoft Azure. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing the migration, ensuring data integrity, security, compliance, optimization, minimal downtime, and high availability, and managing all aspects of the PeopleSoft cloud migration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PeopleSoft ERP migrations, cloud architecture, and post-migration support, along with the ability to mentor internal IT staff.
Primary responsibilities
• Lead and support PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 cloud migration activities, including environment setup, data migration, and validation
• Analyse and implement technical and functional changes required for cloud readiness and optimization
• Support PeopleSoft Cloud migration project with focus on scalable and performant cloud-based solutions
• Develop and optimize SQL, batch jobs, and integrations in cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to increase sprint throughput and reduce backlog
Required Skills:
• 7–10+ years in PeopleSoft FSCM, with 2+ years in cloud migration or cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Cloud Migration (lift-and-shift / re-platforming / cloud optimization)
• Expertise in Oracle SQL and database performance tuning
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• Experience working in cloud platforms (OCI / AWS / Azure) supporting PeopleSoft cloud migration
• Experience with PeopleSoft architecture, integrations, and environment management during migration
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across on-premises and cloud environments
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager (DPK, PUM, Lifecycle Management tools)
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration strategies
• Experience supporting Quote-to-Cash modules in FSCM [Contracts, Project Costing, Billing, Receivables, General Ledger]
• Familiarity with large enterprise integrations
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Knowledge of automation, scripting, and DevOps practices in cloud environments
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-team collaboration skills
Preferred Domain Skills:
• Experience in PeopleSoft cloud transformation or modernization initiatives
• Background in healthcare / payer domains ystems
• Experience with large-scale system migrations (on-prem →
cloud)
• Strong understanding of finance and Quote-to-Cash processes in FSCM [Contracts, Project Costing, Billing, Receivables, General Ledger]
• Experience working in distributed teams supporting enterprise
Proficiency:
• Demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to: Consistent Use: Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise .Applied Productivity: Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making work flows .Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.
