We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to support employees globally while delivering an exceptional employee experience through operational excellence, HR support services, and process improvements.
- Contract through the end of the year
- $32/hour
- 40 hours a week - Monday through Friday
- Fully remote working in ET or CT
This role will partner closely with cross-functional People teams including Talent, People Success, HRIS, Payroll, Total Rewards, and broader business stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries through a centralized case management and ticketing system
- Prioritize, resolve, and escalate employee requests while maintaining excellent service standards
- Provide support across a broad range of HR topics including policies, procedures, employee records, leave management, and operational requests
- Partner with Payroll, HR teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve employee issues efficiently
- Maintain and update internal knowledge base content to ensure employees receive accurate and consistent information
- Monitor employee absences and assist with personal data requests
- Generate travel documentation and visa support letters when needed
- Assist with audit activities, reporting requests, and compliance-related initiatives
- Support process improvement projects focused on automation, scalability, and service optimization
- Contribute to People Operations projects and additional initiatives as business needs evolve
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience within Human Resources, People Operations, HR Shared Services, or Employee Experience environments
- Previous experience supporting employees through ticketing systems or shared services models preferred
- Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and employee lifecycle processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive employee information
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, global environments
- Experience mentoring teammates or collaborating across functions is a plus
- HR degree, certification, or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Fluent English required; Portuguese language skills are a plus
