ODOS Peer Educators are a paid student position within the Office of the Dean of Students (ODOS). Peer Educators contribute to strengthening interpersonal relationships across campus through education and outreach. They are trained in conflict coaching and community building circle facilitation. Peer Educators facilitate educational presentations and workshops on healthy relationships, healthy break-ups, safe dating practices, healthy communication, and team building. Additionally, they provide outreach to students at campus and community events as well as through digital platforms. Peer Educators report to the Assistant Director for Interpersonal Relations and work closely with the Associate Dean for Interpersonal Relations.

Status as a half-time or full-time undergraduate student
Knowledge related to interpersonal relationships
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to think critically while making decisions
Ability to work collaboratively with others in the community
Experience with facilitation and/or public speaking
Expectations:
A strong interest in interpersonal relationships
Willingness to do public speaking for peer education and outreach
