Pediatrician (Hybrid – Clinic & Hospital)

Schedule: Flexible with call requirements

Compensation:

• W2: $280,000 – $300,000 plus bonus based on patient volume. Big Financial opportunity
• 1099: $330,000 – $350,000

Overview

Seeking two Pediatricians for a hybrid role combining outpatient clinic care with inpatient hospital responsibilities. This position is ideal for physicians who are comfortable practicing across both settings and are open to a flexible, high-earning model.

Key Responsibilities

Hospital-Based Care

• Provide coverage for the Emergency Room as needed
• Attend emergency C-sections when requested
• Manage a Level I nursery (~800 deliveries annually)
• Perform newborn rounds (average daily census of 3–5 infants)

Outpatient Pediatric Care

• Provide full-scope pediatric care (infants through adolescents)
• Conduct well-child visits and routine checkups
• Administer immunizations
• Treat acute illnesses and same-day visits

Schedule & Workflow

• Typical day starts at 7:00 AM with nursery rounds
• Transition to clinic around 10:00 AM
• Average of 25 patients per day in clinic
• Bonus opportunities available for exceeding patient volume targets

Call Requirements:

• 7–10 days of call per month (24-hour call shifts)
• On-call weeks typically every third week
• Emergency call-backs to the hospital are rare (only a few times per year)

Schedule Flexibility:

• Standard model may include one week on, two weeks off (depending on team size)
• Opportunity to increase workload and earnings if desired

Qualifications

Required

• Board Certified in Pediatrics

Preferred

• Comfort working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Interest in a flexible, productivity-based compensation model

Compensation Structure

• W2 option: $280K–$300K base
• 1099 option: $330K–$350K+ depending on volume and call participation
• Additional bonuses tied to patient volume
