Our location in Dayton, OH currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Specialist. This position isresponsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products inhospital and office settings.

Up to 50% travel - company car provided.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office settings forSimilac and PediaSure.
Hospital negotiations and contracting.
Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well asthe ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
New product launches.
An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU,Pediatrics,Pharmacies,Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectivelywithDietitians,Physicians and Nurses.
Effective administrative skills.
Budget management.
Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short- and long-term goals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor's degree required.
The ideal candidate will be individuals with 2+ years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses).
Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically within pediatrics a plus.

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
