Job Description

Theracare is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient pediatric team. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working with children in a collaborative, play-based environment and is available for afternoon and evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, sensory, and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support independence and participation in daily activities
  • Utilize creative, play-based therapy techniques to engage children and promote skill development
  • Provide family and caregiver education to support carryover of skills outside the clinic
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Schedule:

  • Part-time
  • Afternoon and evening availability required 

 

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Indiana OT license (or eligible)
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Passion for working with children and families
