Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)Newborn Nursery | Charlotte, North CarolinaOur growing neonatal practice is seeking anexperienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our busy, highly respected Newborn Nursery ServiceatNovant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This opportunity represents the addition of our 9th FT PNPand is ideal for a collaborative provider with a strong passion for caring for newborns and supporting their families.PNP Role & Schedule

• PNPs work9‑hour shifts
• Responsible forcovering newborn servicesat:
  • Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center (Charlotte)
  • Novant Health Medical Center – Matthews
  • Novant Health Medical Center – Huntersville
• Function as an integral part of acollaborative neonatology care team

About the Newborn & NICU Services

• Approximately6,000 deliveries annuallyat Presbyterian Medical Center, with continued growth in newborn services
• The neonatology team supervises the care of approximately7,500 well babies annually
• The Level IV NICU supports approximately:
  • 850 NICU admissions per year
  • Average daily census of 60 babies
• Strong support from a wide range ofpediatric subspecialties, including:
  • Pediatric Surgery
  • Neurosurgery
  • Neurology
  • Pulmonology
  • Cardiology

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
