The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary pediatric epilepsy program at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute with established strengths in ketogenic diet, clinical trials, translational research, epilepsy surgery, continuous EEG monitoring, neurocritical care, and neurodevelopmental outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient care for children with epilepsy and related disorders.
  • Interpret routine, ambulatory, and continuous video-EEG studies, including NICU EEG, PICU EEG.
  • Provide inpatient care in a dedicated 6-bed pediatric EMU.
  • Provide inpatient care of the inpatient child neurology consult service
  • Participate in the multidisciplinary epilepsy surgery conference, including presurgical evaluation and post-surgical follow-up.

Qualifications

  • MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology(or equivalent training).
  • 2 year fellowship training in Epilepsyand/or Clinical Neurophysiologywith substantial pediatric experience.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Maryland.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and a strong commitment to academic medicine.

Benefits

In compliance with the Maryland Pay Transparency act, Kennedy Krieger includes the wage range for all posted jobs. These ranges are based upon the American Academy of Medical Colleges (AAMC) scales and represent a good faith estimate of the base wage range at the time of posting. For this position, the annual wage range is $173,540 to $307,948. The actual wage will be influenced by factors such as faculty appointments, credentials, research experience, and specific expertise. This wage range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation which may be eligible for this position.
