About Skinship Aesthetics
Skinship Aesthetics is a boutique aesthetics studio where science meets self-care. We're passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience from the moment someone walks in the door — and we're looking for a Patient Coordinator Intern who shares that same commitment to hospitality and care.
The Role
As our Patient Coordinator Intern, you'll be the first and last face our clients see — and that matters. This is a front-of-house, patient-facing role that gives you real, hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a medical aesthetics practice. You'll learn how a boutique clinic runs from the inside, with exposure to clinical operations, patient communication, and appointment management.
This is an unpaid internship ideal for students pursuing careers in healthcare, nursing, aesthetics, business, or a related field. Perks include one skin treatment per month and discounts on skincare, neurotoxin treatments, and more! Required to be on-site in our Buckhead office 3 days/week minimum.
What You'll Work On
- Patient Check-In & Check-Out: Greet and check in patients warmly, process check-outs, and ensure every client leaves with a great experience
- Appointment Confirmation: Confirm daily appointments and follow up with patients to reduce no-shows and keep the schedule running smoothly
- Pre & Post Care Education: Communicate pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients clearly and professionally, so they feel informed and confident
- Appointment Flow Management: Help monitor and manage the flow of patients throughout the day, coordinating between front desk and treatment rooms to keep things on schedule
- Room Setup & Turnover: Prepare and break down treatment rooms between appointments, maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Clinical Shadowing: Where available, observe treatments and clinical procedures to deepen your understanding of aesthetics practice — a rare opportunity to learn from the inside
Who You Are
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (healthcare administration, nursing, aesthetics, business, or related field)
- A natural people person — warm, professional, and calm under pressure
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week on-site
- Discreet and respectful of patient privacy and confidentiality
- Passionate about the aesthetics, wellness, or healthcare industry
What You'll Get
- Hands-on experience in a real medical aesthetics practice
- Exposure to clinical operations, patient communication, and business management
- Mentorship from our founder and clinical team
- A portfolio of real-world healthcare administration experience
- Letter of recommendation upon successful completion
- One skin treatment per month
- Discounts on skincare, neurotoxin treatments, and more
