• Provide essential clinical and non-clinical care, assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensuring safe mobility and positioning. This includes assisting patients to the bathroom, assisting with eating and drinking, monitoring fall status, and other support the nurse may need.
• Observe and promptly report any significant changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional status to the nursing team to ensure rapid intervention. This includes monitoring vital signs, checking blood glucose, collecting lab work, and other minor procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic or paper records of patient care activities and observations in accordance with unit standards. This includes documenting vital signs, blood glucose readings, patient interactions, and stocking medical supplies.
• Ensure a safe and efficient healing environment by maintaining room cleanliness, organizing supplies, and monitoring the functionality of medical equipment.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Previous healthcare experience
• Experience in a hospital environment
