Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls from members and parents in a high-volume call center environment (30–50+ calls daily)
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments according to departmental guidelines
• Make outbound calls regarding appointments, referrals, waitlists, and follow-up care
• Create, route, and manage patient messages through EPIC/HealthConnect
• Assist with referral management and appointment waitlists
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinic staff
• Accurately document patient interactions within electronic medical records
• Provide outstanding customer service while meeting quality and productivity goals
• Support additional patient access and clinic administrative functions as needed

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare customer service, patient access, medical office, scheduling, or call center experience
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Experience using EPIC or HealthConnect
• Medical scheduling or patient access experience
• Experience working in a pediatric, specialty clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and phone systems
