About SHOPLINE
Founded in 2013, SHOPLINE is a global omnichannel e-commerce SaaS platform supporting hundreds of thousands of merchants worldwide. Our platform helps brands build, launch, and scale across online and offline channels with integrated tools for storefronts, payments, marketing automation, loyalty, and analytics.
We’re in a key phase of US growth, evolving our go-to-market motion while staying true to our startup roots. This role plays a critical part in building a scalable, partner-friendly revenue engine in the US market.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, independent Contract Partner Manager to serve as a high-impact, temporary resource dedicated to driving revenue in the US market. This engagement is focused on the completion of a specific project—immediately taking ownership of converting inbound demand, co-selling with partners, and successfully driving deals across multiple acquisition channels within a defined duration.
This is a hands-on assignment for a self-managed expert who can quickly own the full sales cycle, collaborate effectively with partners, and help shape a repeatable sales motion from the ground up. The contractor will function as the connective tissue between marketing, partners, and revenue, providing critical feedback to improve our GTM strategy.
Key Deliverables & Self-Managed Execution
Success in this role is based solely on deliverables and requires the contractor to provide their own tools for execution.
Deal Ownership & Completion
- Independently own and manage the full sales cycle for inbound and partner-sourced leads, from discovery through contract close and handoff for onboarding.
- Run leads through all necessary discovery calls, demos, and solution discussions without supervision, tailoring solutions to merchant needs.
- Drive deal momentum, pricing discussions, and contract execution, being accountable for achieving predefined targets for deal progression, forecasting, and close outcomes.
Partner Co-Selling Results
- Execute co-selling motions and drive joint opportunities alongside SHOPLINE partners.
- Serve as the expert sales counterpart to partners, autonomously ensuring consistent messaging and follow-up.
- Deliver actionable deal insights and best practices to improve partner effectiveness.
Inbound Conversion Management
- Assume full ownership of inbound leads generated through marketing, events, and partners, ensuring timely, thoughtful follow-up and clear next steps for all qualified leads.
- Ensure CRM hygiene, deal tracking, and reporting accuracy for all owned leads.
GTM Insights & Process Contribution
- Provide expert insights on objections, pricing friction, competitive dynamics, and buyer needs to inform messaging and positioning.
- Contribute to the iteration and documentation of a scalable, partner-friendly sales process based on immediate execution and experience.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven Expertise: 5+ years of demonstrable success and hands-on experience in B2B SaaS sales, partnerships, or solutions selling.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: A track record of owning and successfully closing deals end-to-end.
- Partner Collaboration: Deep comfort and experience working with partners and executing co-selling motions.
- Demand Conversion: Direct experience handling inbound leads and efficiently converting demand into revenue.
- Self-Management & Agility: Highly self-directed, requiring minimal ramp-up time, and comfortable operating effectively in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Tools & Reporting: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for accurate deal tracking and basic sales reporting.
- Communication: Strong communicator capable of quickly building trust with customers and partners.
Bonus (Strongly Preferred for Immediate Impact):
- Experience selling e-commerce, SaaS, or platform-based solutions.
- Experience working in partner-led or channel-driven Go-To-Market (GTM) models.
- Comfort participating in events, demos, and field engagements.
