The PT Welding Instructor will prepare students for a successful career in the welding industry through instruction on: welding safety, oxyfuel cutting, plasma arc cutting, base metal preparation, weld quality, SMAW welding, GMAW welding, understanding welding detail drawings and other areas as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: classroom instruction, delivery of project-based learning activities, assessment, examination and grading.
5 years’ experience in the welding industry.
Experience in training others in a workforce or classroom/lab setting.
Willing to teach day or evening classes.
Willing to earn NCCER certification within two months of employment.
