Physical Therapist – Part-Time (28 hrs/week), Outpatient Specialty Clinic

We’re seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with strong clinical judgment and a passion for musculoskeletal health to support our multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver comprehensive rehabilitation assessments and ongoing management for both pediatric and adult patients in a clinical setting
• Provide expert guidance on joint health, injury prevention, strength building, mobility improvement, and chronic arthropathy
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families to support long-term health and functional outcomes

• Utilize ultrasound for care management (preferred but not required)

Position Summary:

Provides professional, educational, and clinical skills in organizing and directing physical therapy services and administering treatment programs.

Position Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinates all physical therapy and related orthopedic care to ensure appropriate patient treatment.
• Conducts patient consultation, evaluation, and program planning for all patients.
• Develops home exercise programs to instruct patients in the required exercise for treatment.
• Reassesses patient status on an ongoing basis to ensure that treatment goals, plans, and program are appropriate.
• Communicates effectively with patient/family to ensure knowledge of treatment plan and home exercises.
• Develops educational programs to increase patient/family and community awareness of physical therapy treatment.
• Assists in continuing education and orientation or new employees to increase awareness of physical therapy treatments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

• Physical Therapy (PT) by Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners - Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE) required

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy and four years of experience requiredMaster's Degree in Physical Therapy and two years of experience requiredDoctorate Degree in Physical Therapy and no experience required

Minimum Experience:

4 years required 2 years requiredYears of experience varies based on education level. required

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
