UPMC Pinnacle Medical Services is hiring a Part-Time Nurse Midwife to join their Lititz OB/GYN Specialists team in Lititz, PA! This position will primarily located in Lititz with regular travel to the other offices to support staffing and patient needs.
Hours: Monday through Friday, daylight hours. 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. An occasional Saturday shift, as needed. No On-Call required.

Position Specifics: Obstetrics and Gynecology - Preferred Midwifery experience, preferred women’s health nursing/labor suite experience.

Purpose:
Provides comprehensive primary health care to a select population of essentially healthy women. Participates in the care of women with medical complications in collaboration with obstetricians/gynecologists.
Responsibilities:
Completion of an accredited school of nurse midwifery required. Bachelor's degree required.
Considerable degree of independent judgment to monitor and respond to changes in a client's condition. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families and all members of the healthcare team. Oral and written skills necessary to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and members of the healthcare community.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
