Part-time Faculty Wage in Management, McIntire School of Commerce (Faculty Wage)

This job profile is only for faculty members hired to complete a short-term and/or part-time academic work assignment, such as teaching one or more courses for one or two academic terms. Wage Faculty (Adjunct) may only be paid via Period Activity Pay.

The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applicants for one (or more) part-time, faculty wage (non-tenure eligible) positions in our Management Area beginning in August 2026. Each position will teach 3-9 credit hours in the 2026-27 academic year, in one or more of the following topics:

  • Organizational Behavior
  • Introduction to Management / Business Administration

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A master's degree in Business or a closely-related field is required; a Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Industry or educational experience in Management is required; previous experience teaching in a higher education setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative team skills and the desire to work in a dynamic environment that stresses teamwork, innovation, and student-centered learning.
