Key Responsibilities As a Convenience Site Attendant, you will:
Operates trash compactor in accordance with established safety procedures.
Direct traffic flow at convenience site and assist waste haulers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Monitors refuse and recycling collection areas and enforces County regulations regarding proper waste disposal.
Identifies, discourages, and reports illegal dumping and unauthorized use by out-of-County residents.
Maintains cleanliness and general upkeep of convenience site and grounds, including litter control, and raking as required.
Performs routine preventative maintenance of equipment and reports repair needs.
the public cooperatively and professionally Provides courteous and professional customer service to the public, including answering questions and providing assistance.
Assists customers with off-loading waste materials from needed.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Ability to follow specific instructions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
