This position is responsible for performing basic turf and horticultural maintenance duties.
*This position performs duties deemed to be “safety-sensitive" and is therefore subjected to random drug testing under the City’s policies*
- mow turf, operate weedeater, edge
- remove litter
- water landscape, weed beds, and remove limbs
- perform other related duties as assigned
• 16 years of age or more
Tasks involve the ability to exert forceful physical effort in heavy work, typically involving some combination of balancing, climbing, crawling, and crouching, feeling, handling, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, talking, visual acuity, walking and some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of heavy weight (up to 150 pounds).
